HELLO! my name is gideon, I'm 24, and I live in northern california (though I moved from the east coast) with my partner and our tiny dog and large cat.

I'm relatively new to dwrp! my first RP experience was via tumblr around 2008-ish, and then I moved to MSN (lmao) and for the past five years I've been RPing with my partner via... email. I spent a bit of time nervously participating in a game a little while back (has it been a year? how long has it been??) when I first started dwrp, but after the game closed I became a little hesitant to join another because I am Ridiculously Picky about what I want out of a game, so I've been floating around being spooked about putting myself on memes ever since.

my main interests are basically all video games-- I'm very into the warcraft, mass effect, dragon age, persona, and ace attorney franchises. beyond that, I watch a lot of HGTV, food network, and a handful of history channel shows.

I'm also an artist, and right now that is my sole income (gratuitous link to my commissions post). I do work at a bunch of cons in artist alleys throughout the year, also! mostly just in california, but I've done a few events in seattle, las vegas, and chicago, too, and getting the chance to travel a bit for cons is always kind of exciterrifying.
